A truly Positive reinforcement Puppy Board and Train!

In-Home Puppy Board & Train
Raising a puppy can be challenging. We lessen the stress of puppy raising by doing the training for you! We will get potty training, manners, socialization and foundation obedience behaviours up and going. Your pup stays in our home, treated as one of our own, with formal training sessions throughout the day, socialization outings and continuous informal manners training for the duration of their stay. And of course, lots of cuddles! Let a professional, certified trainer teach your pup for you!
Have a new pup but want to go on vacation?
Our board and train program lets you confidently know your pup is getting the best care and training so you can have peace of mind and truly relax!

Private Sessions
We come to you!
Would you like to learn step by step how to train your dog? Do you have the time and willingness to put in the daily work to get the results you want? Then private coaching sessions are for you!
Beginning with our initial consultation, we discuss all your concerns, our dog training methods, go over how your dog is interacting with its environment and the relationship it has with family members. We then come up with a plan specific to your needs. Training sessions are scheduled once per week. We teach your dog while explaining the steps, then coach you through them. We then give you written instructions for you to practice during the week.
Pawsitive Ways Dog Training in Guelph, is dedicated to helping owners raise puppies to be well-rounded family members. Our focus is on prevention of unwanted behaviours, and teaching skills needed for real life as an active family member. At PWDT, we understand how dogs learn. With the use of techniques founded in science and vetted by hundreds of trainers with thousands of dogs, we will teach your pup using positive, reward based methods. We then transfer their learned behaviours to you.
Our training techniques do not use pain, fear, or intimidation. We use what motivates your pup to create the behaviour we want, which in most cases are treats or toys. The use of treats is gradually faded as other real life rewards are incorporated.
